After months of voting, Cebu, Iloilo and Vigan cities have been officially chosen to be eligible for selection of the final candidates to the New 7 Wonders Cities, along with 74 other cities around the world.
On October 21 this year, voting will resume for the search of New 7 Wonders Cities.
Apart from the voting, a panel of experts will also help in choosing the 28 official candidates who will vie for the prestigious title.
The New7Wonders Foundation, which is behind the New7Wonders campaigns, has the express aim of documenting and conserving works of monuments worldwide under the motto: “OUR HERITAGE IS OUR FUTURE!”
New7Wonders calls on all citizens of the world to support it!
Other cities who qualified are Athens, Bangkok, Bethlehem, Chicago, Doha, Dubai, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Las Vegas, London, New York, Paris, Rome, Seoul, Singapore, Sidney, Tokyo, Toronto and Zurich.
