The most awaited kiss in GMA 7’s primetime soap, My Husband’s Lover, will finally be witnessed tonight as the soap bid’s goodbye to Philippine TV after four months of airing.
Separated for years after Eric, played by Dennis Trillo, left for US to put a stop to his relationship with Vincent (Tom Rodriguez), the two finally meet, just in time when everybody has whole heartedly moved-on and reconciled.
Even Vincent’s son Diego has grown up to be a wise man, and has given his dad Vincent the go signal to be happy and be with someone that will make him happy because he doesn’t any longer want to see his dad heartbroken.
For sure, viewers will be glued tonight as they await the end of Vincent and Eric’s love story.
My Husband’s Lover is the first gay-themed series in Philippine television that tells about homosexual relationships and infidelity. The show that premiered last June 11, offers multiple continuing story lines that tackle sensitive yet relevant social issues like homosexual and bisexual relationships, homophobia and the society’s discrimination against homosexuals, infidelity, pre-marital sex and the consequences of early or unplanned marriages.
It also tackles the importance of family, friendship, integrity and love.
The forty-five minute scripted drama chronicles the life of a woman, who belatedly discovers that her husband has been carrying on an affair, but not with another woman.
Created and developed by Suzette Doctolero and produced by GMA Network, the series starred by Carla Abellana, Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo as the main characters will end tonight.
