Twenty eight year Jose Anmer Paredes of Venezuela beat 37 beautiful gentlemen from around the world to win the coveted Mister International 2013 title at the grand pageant finale last night in Skenoo Hall, Jakarta, Indonesia.
Paredes, 1.83m tall and a native of Guasdualito showed great confidence to outshine Indonesia’s Albert Sultan and Brazil’s Jhon Marko who finished 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively.
Hans Briseno of Mexico placed 3rd runner-up, while Philippines’ Gil Wagas and Czech Republic’s Antonin Beranek were proclaimed 4th and 5th runner-ups.
The other four candidates who were in the top ten are Haolong Tan of China, Mario Lora of Colombia, Edwin Heng of Singapore, and Michal Gajdosechs of Slovak Republic.
Completing the top 16 semifinalist are Canada’s Kristian Denver Diaz, Chile’s Pablo Alcayaga, Costa Rica’s Israeil Moya, Italy’s Marco Della Croce, Slovenia’s Jure Rugani, and Turkey’s Ufuk Deger.
Special award winners include Venezuela’s José Anmer Paredes for Best Body, USA’s Jeremy Wyatt Akin for Mr. Congeniality, Indonesia’s Albern Sultan for Mister Photogenic, Panama’s Sergio Isaac Lópes for Best in National Costume.
Gil Wagas of Lapu-Lapu City Philippines was proclaimed Fan Vote Winner.
