Wrestler Joseph Angana has been officially included in the lean Philippine delegation to the 27th Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar next month.
Angana’s inclusion came after showing a superb form in the team’s on-going training in Iran. He will be joining his older brother, Margarito Angana Jr. who is a two-time SEA Games gold medalist.
The rest of the wrestling team seeing action in Myanmar are two-time gold winner and flag-bearer Jason Balabal, and newcomers Jhonny Morte, Noel Norada and Alvin Lobrequito.
The wrestling matches will be held in N.I.S (1) in Yangon, Myanmar, from December 9 to 13, 2013.
The Philippine Wrestling team delivered 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals in the last edition of SEA Games in Indonesia.
Flag-bearer Jason Balabal and Margarito Angana Jr. won the gold medals.
