Results of the Speedo G-League BST Leg 3 meet last weekend in San Pablo, Laguna have been officially included in the ranking.
Most notable swimmers in the said swim meet are Lipa Green Blasters Swim Club swimmer Maria Aresa Lipat and Lake City Swim Club swimmer Allen Felix Miranda.
The 89th NCAA Women’s Most Valuable Player Misay Lipat stormed her way to the 6th rank in the 50m Butterfly women’s ranking with her time of 31.27, and at the same time debuted on 8th spot in the 50m Freestyle ranking (29.66) and 18th in the 50m Backstroke ranking (34.50).
Sixteen year-old Allen Miranda on the other hand, debuted in the 1500m Freestyle ranking on 5th place after clocking a gold medal time of 18:23.69.
John Edward Velecina of Aqua Razours Swimming Club joined Miranda in the 1500m Freestyle ranking, as he takes the 7th spot with his time of 18:34.36. Velecina also placed 19th in the 200m Individual Medley ranking (2:24.22), and 22nd in the 50m Backstroke ranking (31.38).
Making her presence felt in the Freestyle ranking is Suzanne Vernon Himor who takes the 9th position in the 800m Freestyle ranking with her time of 10:27.46 and 24th spot in the 100m Freestyle ranking (1:05.82).
Batangas City Alpa Seals’ Arian Neil Puyo – one of the swimmers to watch in the Backstroke events, entered the 200m Individual Medley ranking on 15th spot with his time of 2:23.18, and placed 16th in the 50m Backstroke (31.18).
Joining Arian Puyo in the 50m Backstroke ranking are Renzo Oliver Baja on 12th place (30.90) and James Peter Hernandez in 15th spot (31.02).
Renzo Baja of PonteFino Razorbacks Swim Club also placed 10th in the 50m Butterfly ranking (27.99), and 18th in the 50m Freestyle ranking (26.16); while James Hernandez of Mayon Swim Club Inc. made clinched the 13th spot of the 100 Meters Backstroke ranking (1:05.53).
Aqua Flippers Swimming Club’s Gwen Brynne Prejula also made her presence felt in the 50m Fly, 100m Fly and 200m IM ranking; placing 28th (32.99), 15th (1:11.74) and 19th (2:41.07) respectively.
Other swimmers who break into the Philippine Swimming ranking are Bryan Kyle Celestial (10th in 50m Fly – 27.99), Katrina Mae Garcia (20th in 200m IM – 2:41.21), Jewelle Mae Macatangay (21st in 800m Free – 10:44.92), and Nicole Meah Pamintuan (27th in 50m Breast – 39.58).
Thirteen and under swimmers Jophet Suarez, Arian Rapel Ramirez, Aura Vianka Lauren Aquino, Thea Articona, Alexandra Maria Burog, Ethan Roy Go, Sophia Jascel Bulanhagui and Jewelle Mae Macatangay also made it to the 13 and under top 15 ranking.
On the other hand, PinoyHeadline dot Com has decided to rank the Top 30 swimmers per event instead of only Top 25. We will fill-in the rest of the remaining spots as the days go by.
Also, we have now included in the ranking the qualifying reference for the 2014 ASEAN School Games this December in Philippines. This regional school meet is open to all high-school students in the country.
