Results of the 2nd Southeast Asian Federation Swimming Championship held in Singapore last June 17-22 are now included in the 2014 Philippine Swimming National Ranking.
Most outstanding performance came from Philippines’ newest national record holder, Hannah Dato.
Nineteen year-old Dato ripped the 2:23.16 national record of Erica Totten, as she placed 4th in the finals of the women’s 200m Individual Medley with a new PH record time of 2:21.00
With Dato’s sterling performance at the 2nd SEAF Swim Champ, she now ranks 1st in eight events at the 2014 PH Swimming Ranking – namely 100m Free, 400m Free, 800m Free, 50m Fly, 100m Fly, 200m Fly, 200m IM and 400m IM.
Olympian Jessie Lacuna on the other hand delivered five Top 1 PH national swimming rankings with his performance at the 2nd SEAF.
With the newly updated ranking, he now sits as number 1 in the 100m Free, 200m Free, 400m Free, 200m Fly and 200m IM events.
Meanwhile, UAAP Season 75 Rookie of the Year, Axel Toni Steven Ngui, debuts in no. 2 at the 50m Freestyle ranking, third rank in the 400m Free, 4th rank in 200m Free, and 9th in the 200m IM PH ranking.
Franz Marquez on the other hand climbed to second spot, from 4th, in the 400m IM ranking, 4th in the 200m IM, and 7th in both 200m Free and 200m Breast rankings.
