Results of 10th SICC Invitational Swim Championship now in Swim Ranking


Results of the 10th SICC Invitational Swimming Championship held at the Singapore Island Country Club in Singapore last August 2-3, 2014 are now included in the 2014 Philippine Swimming Ranking.

Denjylie Cordero continues to lead the women’s 100m breaststroke ranking with an improved time of 1:14.93; but still few milliseconds short from her 1:14.06 top time in 2013 season.

Thirteen year-old swimmer Daryl James Concepcion showed great improvements as he takes the top spot of the 50m and 100m Backstroke Jr. 13 and Under ranking boys with his times of 30.44 and 1:06.10; while at the same time taking the 19th and 24th spot in the senior’s ranking in the said events.

Francisco also takes the 2nd spot in the boys 13 and under 200m Individual Medley ranking with his time of 2:30.75; while taking the 8th spot of both 13 and Under boys 50m and 100m Butterfly (30.57 and 1:08.42) and 9th spot of the 13 and under boys 100m Freestyle (1:03.00).

On the other hand, twelve-year-old Jesreel Francisco takes the top spot of the Girls 13 and Under 100m Butterfly ranking with her time of 1:12.15; while taking the 22nd spot in the seniors ranking of the said event. She also takes the 10th spot in the 13 and under girls 100m Freestyle ranking (1:07.61)

Inaki Emil Lorbes moves up to the 2nd spot in the 13 and under boys 100m breaststroke ranking after clocking 1:19.23 and 3rd spot in the 12 and under boys 50m Freestyle ranking (28.12). In the 13 and under boys ranking, he also takes the 6th spot in the 50m Butterfly (29.99), 7th spot of the 100m Free, 100m Fly and 200m IM (1:02.62 , 1:08.08 , 2:34.24), and 9th in the 50m Breaststroke (36.94).

Bela Louise Magtibay improved her 13 and under 200m Individual Medley ranking to 4th place with her 2:41.87 clocking, and at the same time improved to 22nd rank in the seniors national ranking of the said event.

Meanwhile, Delia Angela Cordero moved up to 6th place in the women’s 200m Individual Medley seniors national ranking with her improved time of 2:32.19; while Christen Mercado improved his 50m Butterfly seniors national ranking to 10th place with his 27.65 clcoking; so as fourteen-year-old Franchesca Ezzabella Joves who now ranks 13th in the women’s 100m Backstroke seniors ranking with her improved time of 1:12.19

Patrick Tierie on the other hand now enters the 100m Butterfly national ranking with his 1:00.69 clocking, taking the 11th spot; while Martin Jacob Pupos and Lans Rawlin Donato assume the 24th and 29th spots with their times of 1:02.18 and 1:02.64

Pupos now also ranks 17th in the men’s 100m Freestyle and 19th in the men’s 200m Individual Medley ranking with his times of 56.84 and 2:20.81

Other swimmers who have also improved their seniors national rankings are Sean Terence Zamora, Jeffrey Michael Hirao and Dennice Juliet Cordero.

Fourteen year-old Ma. Angela Paula Villamil debuts in the seniors national ranking taking the 18th spot in the 50m Backstroke (34.18), 26th in the 50m Butterfly (32.29), and 27th in the 100m Freestyle (1:05.60).
