Most notable swimmers in the said meet are Raven Faith Alcoseba, Psalm Daniel Aquino and Michael Ichiro Kong.

Twelve year-old Alcoseba of the First Chinese Royal Academy swim club debuts in the Top 30 national rankings of the Women’s 200m Individual Medley event on 25th place with her 2:41.10 clocking, and in the Women’s 400m Freestyle event on 29th place with her time of 5:04.73

She also made it to the 13 & Under Top 15 National Ranking in 9 events which include 13th in 100m Free (1:08.41), 11th in 200m Free (2:27.73), 6th in 400m Free (5:04.73), 7th in 50m Back (34.72), 5th in 100m Back (1:15.30), 10th in 50m Breast (40.07), 12th in 100m Breast (1:28.50), 10th in 100m Fly (1:15.46), and 4th in 200m Individual Medley (2:41.10).

Not just that! Alcoseba’s 1:15.30 clocking in the 100m Backstroke is the 3rd fastest time among possible contenders for the 13 & Under team for next year’s SEA Age Group Swimming Championship in Malaysia; which is just few seconds away from Xiandi Chua’s 1:12.14 Top 5 time in this year’s SEA AG in Singapore. She needs to register though at least 1:10.00 though to hit the Bronze medal standard for next year’s SEA AG which is the bronze medal time of Thailand’s Preeyapat Chaikul in the 13 & Under girls in this year’s sEA AG.

Also, her 2:41.10 time in the 200m IM is the third fastest time among possible contenders for next year’s SEA AG 13 & Under team. Alcoseba though has a lot of catching up to do since the bronze medal standard in this event for next’s year’s SEA AG is 2:29.92, the bronze medal clocking of Indonesia’s Sofie Kemala in the 13 & Under girls.

Another 12-year-old swimmer, Psalm Daniel Aquino, also made his presence felt in the 13 & Under Top 15 national ranking, as he puts himself on the 13th place in the 100m Free (1:03.58) and 11th place in the 200m Individual Medley (2:37.58).

Moreover, the pride of Asian College Technology swim club also put himself as the third fastest swimmer among the possible contenders for next year’s SEA AG 13 & Under Philippine team – as he clocked 29.21 in 50m Free, 1:03.50 in 100m Free, 1:14.48 in 100m Back and 32.02 in 50m Fly events. He still has a lot of catching to do as his times are quite slower compared to the Bronze medal time of this year’s SEA AG in Singapore.

On the other hand, one of Cebu’s best swimmers, Michael Ichiro Kong, placed 24th in the Men’s 100m Backstroke national ranking with his time of 1:06.07; 25th in the 200m Backstroke (2:26.81), and 30th in the 200m Individual Medley (2:24.24).

Garbanzos 200m Freestyle time is also the 2nd fastest time among the possible contenders for next year’s 13 & Under SEA Age Group PH Team.
