Actress Marissa Delgado has proven that it is never too late to achieve your dreams.
Delgado, who started her career in show business in the 1960s, on Friday graduated from the University of Visayas in Cebu with a degree in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management.
Delgado was a working student when she was in high school. She was not able to proceed to college, however, as she had already entered the entertainment industry in order to help augment her family’s finances.
According to Delgado, she could not believe of her latest achievement. She said she feels grateful for the full support of her family in her schooling.
Delgado was part of the Kapamilya hit series “Forevermore” and “Be Careful with my Heart.”
Delgado’s first movie was “Dalawang Kumander” which starred Dolphy and Chiquito. She is also known for her film “Tubog sa Ginto,” which was directed by Lino Brocka.
Aside from portraying sexy roles, Delgado was known for posing for Playboy magazine in 1968.
